  • General consultative status is for NGOs that cover most of the issues on the agenda of ECOSOC and its subsidiary bodies.
  • Special consultative status is for NGOs that only cover a few of the fields of activity of the ECOSOC.
  • Organizations that apply for consultative status but do not fit in any of the other categories can be included in the Roster category.
